Tests and Procedures
ALLERGY TESTS
Skin Prick Test
Done to determine allergens which causes immediate reactions. A series of allergen will be applied on your skin. Results can be read within 30 minutes. Please avoid taking anti-histamine, cough syrup and flu medicine 48 hours prior to visit.
Skin Patch Test
Done to determine allergens which causes delayed reactions. You will be required to leave the patches on and return for reading of results after 48 hours. Please avoid taking anti-histamine, cough syrup and flu medicine 48 hours prior to visit.
BLOOD TESTS
Routine blood tests
We offer routine blood tests (results within 2-3 days).
Immunological tests
Requires 2 weeks for results.
DERMATOLOGICAL PROCEDURES
Cryotherapy
Used for treatment of warts, keloid, and nodular form of skin inflammation.
Electrocautery
A heated electrode is used for the removal of skin tags, seborrheic keratosis, syringoma and sebaceous gland hyperplasia.
Dermabrasion
A layer of dead skin will be removed in order to stimulate growth of a new skin layer.
Skin biopsy
Certain diagnosis needs to be confirmed by taking a sample of your skin and then examined under microscope.
Phototherapy
Light is used to treat certain conditions such as psoriasis and vitiligo.
